Professionals, Inc. (NOGLSTP). NOGLSTP was founded 25 years ago and is an
official affiliate of the American Association for the Advancement of Science

Committees
Committee information can be viewed on the web site page for that committee. Sign up for a committee by emailing the committee chairperson. (note: all chair emails are on the committee page, and addresses are @purdue.edu unless otherwise noted)

• Only NOGLSTP members may be on committees - others may volunteer to help
• The President is on every committee, but others will chair committees
• Active committees will have a chair and 1-3 others in addition to the President
• Non-members are encouraged to attend more than one meeting before signing up

Committee Chairperson
Is chosen by a consensus amongst the committees members. The chair is ultimately responsible for meeting the committees objectives - they manage the committee.

• Creates committee descriptions
• Defines and assigns tasks
• Maintains current committee description, tasks, and membership for posting on web site
• Gives committee reports at meetings
• Submits a semester-end Activity Summary Report
