Mission Statement:
The association strives to establish and cultivate a vital and supportive community of LGBT mathematicians and their allies.
Objectives:
- establish contacts among LGBT mathematicians and their allies
- publicize the historical and current contributions of LGBT mathematicians to mathematics
- promote an image of mathematics as an appropriate vocational choice for future LGBT mathematicians
- oppose discrimination against LGBT mathematicians as a result of their gender orientation
